La Fortaleza de la Mola: The military importance of the port of Mahón has been well evident for centuries. Later, during the British rule of Menorca, it was the port of support for the English Mediterranean squadron, to finally become in the 19th century at the crossroads of the French route from Toulon – Algiers with the English Mediterranean route from Gibraltar to Malta. A place full of history a few minutes from Mahón.
The Museum of Menorca: The current Museum of Menorca is the old Franciscan convent of Jesús from the s. XVII-XVIII. In its rooms the history of Menorca is explained through its material remains.
The Bastion of Sant Roc: a remnant of the main gate of the wall that surrounded the city.
The Town Hall: in it we found the clock that the English governor Richard Kane brought.
